What is antimicrobial coating?

Antimicrobial coatings, or self-disinfecting coatings, are solutions with a binding component, that binds natural active compound materials onto coated surfaces, to protect high-touchpoint surface areas such as door handles, railings, light switches, basin taps, toilet seats against the growth of disease-causing bacteria and viruses.
